The Bluescast, also known as the 20^th Century Bluescast, was Alaska’s news comedy group for more than 30 years. The Juneau-based troupe began in 1979 as a radio program on public station KTOO. In the early 1980s, members brought its made-up news, dramatic skits and song parodies to the stage.
